CHISELS BY TWO CHERRIES
Two Cherries Tools are made of the highest quality German steel. The blades are skillfully heat-treated using an immersion bath method to achieve a hardness of Rc 61. This means that sharpening may take a few extra minutes, but they will hold an edge significantly longer than almost any other chisel made. After heat treating, the blades are polished to a rich, mirror finish that makes them a joy to use. The final step is fitting a tough, steel hooped hornbeam handle.
Two Cherries chisels are well known for coming with a highly-polished finish. The polishing process creates a mirror finish on the surface of the steel, which looks very nice, and reduces friction with the wood.
Many of our customers wish to upgrade to a professional, "serious" chisel. Although other brands may claim this status, few can compare to the quality and edge retention capabilities of our Two Cherries German made chisels.

Blade and Handle
This 2 Cut chisel is a multipurpose tool used for chiseling, cutting, slitting, carving, mortising, notching and scribing.
The first universal tool from TWO CHERRIES with 2 cutting edges - front and side. Quality Cutting edges ground on both sides and mirror bright polished. Usable length hardened in salt bath up to 60 + / - 1 HRc. Back can be used with plastic or wooden mallet.

The chisels are available in 3 different handles:
Natural hornbeam wood - made the traditional way
Red hardened plastic - impact resistant and durable
Blue two component handles - combine the impact resistant hardened plastic with black rubber to maximise ergonomic features for the craftsman.

Each set of 6 contains 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 26mm sizes (1/4" through 1"). Packed in a nicely crafted hardwood box.
Chisel lengths vary with blade width. For example: a chisel with a blade width of 3/4 in. (18 mm) is 10 1/2 in. (27 cm) long.

The blue two component handle combines the durability of the hardened plastic componentry with the ergonomic black rubber. Maintains strength and durability but kinder on the user.

These are great starter sets for the home handyman carver. The carving tools are a scaled down version of the two cherries full size carving tools (about 20 cm overall length compared to the 25 cm length of the full size tools) and are perfect for detail work and small carvings. The tools in these sets are hand forged, top quality tools designed for a variety of carving projects, are very sharp and ready to use.

Two Cherries HSS Turning Set (1594SB).
The Two Cherries brand of high quality bench chisels and carving tools has been well known among furniture makers and carvers for quite some time.
It consists of four tools:a 25/32" (20mm) skew, 25/32" (20mm) spindle gouge, 25/32" (20mm) round nose scraper, and 3/16" (5mm) fluted parting.

This leather roll is soft and manageable and provides ideal protection for chisels and carving tools. It has 12 pockets and, when closed, it is secured by a belt-like strap. The Two Cherries logo is embroidered on the front.
